H13 is a versatile hot work tool steel known for excellent toughness, thermal fatigue resistance, and dependable hot hardness. It maintains strength at elevated temperatures, responds well to heat treatment, and supports stable tooling under repeated thermal cycling. H13 is widely used for die casting dies, hot extrusion tooling, forging dies, hot shear blades, mandrels, and punches where long tool life and crack resistance are essential.
